Description

Did you know that during his career, and for a variety of reasons, Hitler made various comments against "atheist" movements. He associated atheism with Bolshevism, Communism, and Jewish materialism. In 1933, the regime banned most atheistic and free thinking groups in Germany - other than those that supported the Nazis.

"We were convinced that the people needs and requires this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheist movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations: we have stamped it out."
Adolf Hitler ,Berlin, October 24, 1933

"I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so."
John Toland Adolf Hitler. New York: Anchor Publishing, 1992, p. 507.

“Secular schools can never be tolerated because such a school has no religious instruction and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith . . . We need believing people.”
Adolf Hitler, April 26, 1933 , in a speech made during negotiations leading to the Nazi-Vatican Concordant.

Atheists have higher growth in moral development. Famous American psychologist Lawrence Kohlberg writes that at the highest levels of moral development - moral judgments must be justified by rational moral reasons rather than appeal to the order of nature or religious authority or revelation. While Freud suggests that religion serves to undermine the moral responsibility while promoting fanaticism, he said that people who behave morally only for fear of supernatural punishment is unlikely to respect and care for others from an altruistic perspective.

Atheists are less likely to succumb to the temptation of authoritarian regimes that promise miraculous and divine decrees sent. Do you think Hitler could have convinced a nation of secularists / atheists who slaughtered Jews was a good way to spend a Sunday? But much easier to do when working with the devotees of Martin Luther antisemitic.

Atheophobics always assume that people ain't gonna take in count all the data of Hitler hating atheism just because they say so.

Atheists do not have to hate anyone. There is no doctrine that promotes violence against believers.
